GZW has three T3 zones: Fort Narith, Tiger Bay, and Midnight Sapphire. My criticism concerns the size of these areas in relation to how they’re currently being played.
The problem:
In all three zones, you reach the high-loot area much too quickly. It’s striking that, despite the zones’ actually large total area, these areas are almost always quite central and compact. Furthermore, each zone has at least one side from which you can reach the high-loot area extremely quickly, and even via the “more difficult” routes, the path there is manageable—you simply have to deal with more NPCs, not actually more distance or defense.
My solution:
The zones should be significantly larger, so that the high-loot area is truly at the center and you have to actively fight or sneak your way there, rather than just running in briefly. This would not only increase the tension but also allow for more tactical variety—sneaking, pushing through, flanking—depending on how you choose your route to the center. A location you really have to fight your way through automatically feels more immersive, exciting, and rewarding.
Additionally, the loot could generally be spread out a bit more across each zone. The best loot can certainly remain in the center, but you should also be able to find items along the way—that way, the entire journey through the zone is worthwhile, not just reaching the center.
In the attached screenshots, I’ve marked in red how much unused space is still available in each of the three zones to expand them accordingly:
Fort Narith:
The two marked villages, which are home to some of the base’s personnel, could be integrated more closely into the base without completely merging them with the main area. This would also make them more heavily guarded and a genuine part of the challenge, rather than just existing on the sidelines.

Tiger Bay:
There’s still plenty of unused space all around here. Additional buildings in this area would make Tiger Bay feel noticeably more important—as a place where both loot and players are concentrated, simply because there’s more to do there.

Midnight Sapphire:
There’s still plenty of space here as well, such as the large marked area where additional villas could be built. This would add even more depth to the zone’s resort-like character—hotel, villas, golf course. On the left side, where there’s also open space, additional service and staff buildings could be constructed.
